Mie Kocok Bandung restaurant started trading since 2003 at Maroubra road, Maroubra. The name is originally coming from one of the most famous noddle dish in our hometown, Bandung, located in West Java in Indonesia. It is all about casual and traditional culture when you lunch or dine with us. We would like to share the most authentic taste of Indonesian food with your beloved friends and family.

We make our noodles based on the original recipes we inherit from the people of Bangka island, famously told in the book of ‘Bangka Tin and Mentok Pepper’ by Mary Somers Heidhues
Besides Bangka noodles with original topping, we also introduce all sort of fusion noodle dishes such as spicy tuna and spicy chicken. Our other signature dishes are Nasi Goreng Cakalang (Tuna Fried Rice), Sop Buntut (Oxtail Soup), Nasi Uduk (Coconut Rice) and many more. We also serve popular Southeastern Asia dishes such as Laksa and Mee Mamak; and a variety of exotic drinks.
We are an authentic South East Asian cuisine specialising in Malaysian and Indonesian street food. From the ingredients used in your delicious food to the very chair you’re seating on, everything has been carefully picked to enhance your South East Asian dining experience.
We identify that there is not many quality offering of Malaysian and Indonesian halal street food in Adelaide and hence the idea of offering authentic quality halal street food to the South Australian market. Our very first Warong outlet is at Rundle Place and in August 2016, we expanded to Westfield Marion new Food Mall (our 2nd outlet).

Jakarta Indonesian Restaurant was established in 1994 with our first location in Given Tce. Paddington Brisbane. The name “Jakarta” is taken from the capital city of Indonesia. Batavia is what Dutch people named Jakarta and it was later changed to Betawi. Three person dressed in “Betawi” style became our logo.
Our restaurant is decorated with Indonesian traditional theme, with traditional Indonesian music as a background. The Restaurant seats 80 indoor and outdoor.
At Rice, we are focused on serving our local & visiting diners with authentic Indonesian/Asian cuisine that is fresh, healthy & flavoursome.
